This Privacy Policy describes how the app "AI HairCut Simulator: HairTry" (hereinafter "the App") handles user information.

- Face Data: Photos selected or captured by the user and loaded into the App, which contain facial images and facial features. Face data is used solely for hairstyle simulation and is not retained after processing.
- Input / Settings Information: Simulation parameters such as selected hairstyle, hair color, and style (text, numeric, or selection data)
1-2. Information That May Be Automatically Collected
The App may collect the following information to the minimum extent necessary for quality improvement and bug fixes:
- Usage Logs (e.g., crash logs, error information, partial usage activity)
- Device Information (e.g., OS version, device model, app version)

2. Purpose of Use
Information collected by the App is used for the following purposes:
- Generating and providing hairstyle simulation images
- Feature improvement, quality enhancement, bug fixes, and security improvement
- Responding to inquiries (when necessary)
3. Disclosure to Third Parties (Use of Third-Party AI Services)
The App uses third-party AI services to generate hairstyle simulations.
- Recipient: Gemini API provided by Google LLC
- Information Sent: Face data (photos containing facial images) selected by the user and settings for generation (hairstyle, hair color, etc.)
- Purpose: Generating and providing hairstyle simulation images. The App shares face data with Google's Gemini API because on-device processing alone cannot produce the AI-generated hairstyle simulations that the App provides.
- Timing of Transmission: The content and destination of the transmission are displayed to the user, and data is sent only with the user's consent. If the user does not consent, image data will not be sent and the feature will not be executed.
4. Retention Period and Deletion
4-1. Retention by the App (Us)
- Face data is not retained.
The App processes face data in memory solely for the duration of the hairstyle simulation session. We do not store, save, or retain face data on our servers or on the user's device beyond the active session.
- Retention period: Face data exists only during the active simulation session and is discarded when the session ends or the App is closed.
- Storage location: Not applicable.
4-2. Handling by Third-Party AI Services (Google Gemini API)
Face data is sent to the Gemini API provided by Google LLC for hairstyle simulation processing. Google processes the data to generate the AI response and does not use data sent via the paid Gemini API to train or improve its models. According to Google's data handling policies, API input data is processed in transit and is not retained after the response is generated.

Google does not store face data submitted through the paid Gemini API beyond the time required to process the request and deliver the response.
5. User Consent and Choice
- Before sending image data to the third-party AI service, the App presents the content, destination, and purpose of the transmission and obtains user consent.
- If the user does not consent, image data will not be sent and the hairstyle simulation generation feature will not be executed.
6. Security
The App implements reasonable security measures (such as encryption of communications and access controls) to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of collected information.
7. Use by Minors
If a minor uses the App, please obtain parental or guardian consent as necessary before use.
8. Changes to This Policy
The App may change this policy as necessary. If significant changes are made, we will announce them on this page or through other means.
